We conduct structural surveys of any structure using diving and ROVs for the submerged sections.
Examples of the types of structure surveyed include:
- Harbour Walls
- Piers
- Moorings and Groundlines
- Anchors
- Ship Hulls
- Roads and Bridges
- Sea Defences
Our surveys are based on video or photographic recordings and in-situ measurements to include underwater ultrasound testing of metal thickness. Our preferred delivery technique is stereophotogrammetry models of underwater structures. The computer models provide permanent records of the structures while also supporting office-based analysis and measurement which can reduce in-situ recording while also improving accuracy and geolocation of measurements.
We can combine underwater with overwater models. In these cases, the seawater “disappears” to show the complete structure from the seabed up.

We can also make subtidal assessments of biofouling based on stereophotogrammetry from imagery captured using ROVs.
